1. The first step is the hardest, so start small today and make something that fits in the palm of your hand using only materials in your immediate environment.

I started day one hanging out with my big sister doing crafts. We were making cards so I brought my deck of playing cards to see what I could come up with. Originally I was going to make 365 cards but I liked the playing card idea better. 

This is just card stock, an ace and glue. We have a lot of scissors that have funky blades for unique cuts. This deck of cards has some really cool cards (ace and jokers) and they all have bicycles on the backs.

I am already liking what I have created this year. Last time felt so rushed and was just doing the bare minimum.

And yes, this does fit in the palm of my hand, haha.
